What are dog pajamas?
Are you aware of dog pajamas? Not everyone is; even dog parents. They're dog clothes that have "sleeves" for all four legs. They are often one piece that you slide over the head. Then you put each of the legs in a hole and there you go. Sometimes, they open down the back and close with a zipper, velcro, or some other device. But they all cover the legs.
Why would a dog need pajamas?
Good question. Dogs can need clothes with legs in them for several reasons;
- Extra warmth that's provided by covering more of the body.
- Pajamas stay in place better than coats sometimes do, especially when layered.
- A dog might prefer pajamas to other types of outfits for staying warm.
- Keeping snowballs out of the fur of long-haired dogs.
What types of dogs need pajamas?
