Keep your dog cool with a cool coat!

May 28, 2023|Dog cool coats, Dog health

Summertime means warmer weather.  One of the results of this is that our dogs will need more consideration to keep them from getting too hot.

Since dogs can't sweat, other means of cooling might be needed, especially if your dog is more prone to overheating.

There are several products designed to help your dog cool off. Some reflect the heat away from the body.  Others use space technology to help regulate body temperature.  A majority of them use simple evaporation to help cool your dog.  Made by De dog cool coats use the simple physics of evaporation to decrease the temperature around your dog, essentially sweating for them.

Dogs overheat quickly. Dog parents know this and try to prevent it from being a problem. But life still happens. Dog shows, agility trials, and other events are all over the place during the warmer weather. If you and your dog are going to compete, you need to have a strategy for keeping your dog safe and comfortable.

Proof that your dog is getting relief from the heat.

-  Your dog will pant less or stop panting entirely.

-  When you put your hand close to your dog, you'll feel the drop in temperature.

- A comfortable dog won't be as restless.

-  Your dog will be more energetic.
