Keeping your dog warm can prevent injuries.

A fleece dog coat can keep those muscles and joints warm in chilly weather. Older dogs especially have trouble getting stiff, but keeping them warm decreases their issues.

Active dogs don't stop being active when it gets cold outside.  Unfortunately, their muscles aren't as elastic as when they're warmer, so they tear more easily. That's a great reason to have your dog wear a coat when it's cold out.

Fleece is warm but soft so your dog won’t feel as restricted as a coat can make them feel.

Smooth-coated dogs don't have as much insulation as dogs with thicker coats, so they usually need more help staying warm.  Fleece is a great option for keeping them warm since they insulate well and are water repellent.

Warm muscles can work and play with much less risk of injury than cold ones.

Senior dogs have another reason for wearing fleece.  As dogs age, they often develop arthritis.  Wearing a coat helps keep those joints warmer and therefore more mobile.

An ultra fleece coat can help keep your dog warm on cold days. When it's really cold, they can be layered under another coat as well.
