How do you communicate with those who can't use words?

How do you communicate with animals?

Living in the country, we have LOTS of animals, dogs, cats, horses, cows, and chickens.  I feel more connected with my dogs and horses, probably because they seem to be more connected to me.  

This picture of my little mini aussie expresses her love for me.  She didn't say it because she can't, but it's there none the less.  Animals aren't physically built to talk in words, but if you watch, they'll tell you a bunch!!

Have you ever noticed that you were just told something?  For instance, "I need to go potty", "I'm bored", "I'm so glad you're home!!!" (one of my favorites).  We have one dog who, if her water bowl goes empty, will loudly flip the bowl over and then come over and stare at us.  No words, but a definite message there.

My challenge to animal owners is this..........watch and pay attention.  Your animal may be unhappy about something, excited, worried, needy.......   The more you pay attention, the better the understanding you'll have between you!

What is the reason you get up every day????

Do you get up feeling good and looking forward to the day or do you dread it before your feet hit the floor?

I wake up every morning and think about the things I love.  For me, there are so many things to love.  My animals are a big part of my life and this picture reminds me about the love of dogs.  They put up with so much from us and expect so little in return.  When things aren't going as I'd like, when the weather is bad, whatever.........I can hug my dogs, play with my dogs, just hang out and all of a sudden I feel better.

When you wake up in the morning, do you ask yourself "What is the reason I am getting up today?"

Welcome to the 21st Century!!!!

Wow!  This is my first blog!  I have been oblivious to all the aspects of the internet and social media until I started my online business, Made by De, www.coatsmadebyde.com.  I am slowly catching up to what the rest of the world seems to know.  I'm learning about SEO optimization, keywords, backlinks.........It's a whole new language!  Until a couple months ago, I didn't pin, tweet, post or blog.  My new year's resolution has been to learn all of these things and I seem to be starting to get it.  I spent today putting links on my website to pin and tweet.  The more I experiment, the more exciting it is.  All of the things that can be done online amazes me.  Check it out and comment.  Help a newbie out!
